How your information is handled

For clients of Kim Martel who use the coaching app. Short on purpose. If anything here does not match what the app does, the app is wrong and gets fixed.

Who this covers

Clients of Kim Martel, wellness coach, Lancaster, PA, who use this app. Kim is a sole proprietor and the only person who reads what you submit.

What the app stores

Your name, preferred name, email, and phone if you give it. Your answers to the forms Kim assigns, including skipped questions. Your signed coaching agreement. Kim's private coaching notes about your submissions. A log of when things were assigned, submitted, reviewed, and signed.

What the app does not store

No location, no contacts, no photos, no health data from other apps or devices, and no payment card details. Payments are handled outside this app.

Where it is kept

On servers run by Supabase in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Drafts you have not shared yet are also kept in your phone's protected storage until you share them or sign out.

Who can see what

You see everything you submit and your signed agreement. Kim sees your submissions after you tap Share with Kim, and can see that a form is started but not the answers. Kim's private notes are never shown to you in the app, in downloads, or in notifications; only the next step she chooses to share is. Nobody else has access. Kim does not sell or share your information.

Notifications

Reminders say only that a form is waiting. They never include the name of the form or any answer.

Analytics and crash reports

None in this version. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and no answers will ever be included.

How long it is kept

For as long as you are a client, and for two years after coaching ends so you and Kim can both refer back to it. After that it is deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Your copies

You can download every submission and your signed agreement from the Account screen at any time.

Deleting your account

Ask Kim in the app or by email. Your account, submissions, and drafts are deleted within 30 days, including from backups. The signed agreement and the log of when it was signed are kept as a business record for the period the law requires.

Questions

Email Kim at the address on your agreement. This policy is shown in the app and on kimmartel.com and is dated; if it changes, the date changes and you are told in the app.
